UniVibe is the UnicomGroup software developed in collaboration with the University of Ferrara, MechLav laboratory, for the easy and efficient vibration analysis of a wide range of kinematic configurations. This is a diagnostic system that can analyze the health of mechanical components such as bearings, toothed wheels and crowns, and identify specific defects for each one.
To make it unique in its kind is the innovative specific analysis methodology for planetary and differential gearboxes, that is the subject of scientific articles published in collaboration with MechLav.
Its simplified and intuitive interface is suitable both for an end-of-line application facilitating the operator’s work with graphic aids and for use in the field of research and development. All that facilitate the insertion and customization of mechanical models guiding the user step by step.
It is able, in fact, both to perform an automatic analysis starting from the mechanics of the model in question, calculating the final result in consideration of adequately set control limits, and to make available to the expert user the vibration signals acquired by the sensors, and make a personalized evaluation possible.
UniVibe is therefore a tool that can be used both during mass production and during the design and prototyping phases.
