DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The UAV project aims to create an innovative system for the automated handling of pivoting wheeled carts, consisting of a self-driving mobile robot (AGV), with the purpose of increasing the efficiency of the internal logistics processes of a company.
GOALS
The innovative automated handling system for pivoting wheeled carts, equipped with an autonomous guided mobile robot that the UAV project intends to implement, represents for UNICOM a completely new product. It is able to overcome the limitations of traditional AGV trucks, using a system localization based on the installation of passive, cheap and robust RFID tags.
